Inquisitive, Empathetic, Solutions focused

Movement Laboratory is a collective of specialised and reputable healthcare professionals. We are musculoskeletal physiotherapists, with additional qualifications and extensive experience in treating dance injuries, pelvic floor dysfunctions, and managing chronic pain conditions.
All clinicians are certified Pilates instructors trained with Stott, APPI, Polestar and PilatesITC. Many of us enjoyed some time in the dance world before becoming dance physios and movement educators.
Our method of teaching marries Pilates, dance, rehabilitation and functional training, thereby giving us the extra edge as physiotherapists. We provide outstanding movement education leading to lasting results for our patients.

Physiotherapist & Advanced Clinical Mentor
Hi I’m Winnie. I found Movement Laboratory to bring together two of my great loves – physiotherapy and movement education. The emphasis on manual therapy and movement excellence is instilled in every part of our service and treatment model, and they are equally important when treating the person and bringing them far beyond fixing the initial injury presentation.
Prioritising your health and overcoming injury is hard. At Movement Laboratory we’re not about “quick fixes”. We’re invested in helping you achieve lasting results; collaborating with you to play the long game. We continually refining our processes and skillset to better patient outcomes, and to provide that extra 1% care and nurture to our patients.
It’s the reason for our holistic approach to care that includes not just musculoskeletal physiotherapy and massage therapy, but two fully-equipped pilates studios on site with classes led by physiotherapists and exercise physiologists.
Our experienced team is made up of clinicians who share my love of movement and passion for clinical excellence. We want to help you move better, feel better and use your body to its full potential.
We want to collaborate with you to future proof your body.
