Mia is a physiotherapist with a unique background in dance and sports science. She combines her expertise in physiotherapy with her love of movement to deliver exceptional care tailored to the needs of her clients.
As a trained dancer from McDonald College, she understands the intricate physical demands placed on dancers and athletes. Her experiences in this demanding environment sparked a fascination with how the body moves and performs, inspiring her to pursue a Bachelor of Sport and Exercise Science. She then furthered her education by completing a Master of Physiotherapy at the University of Sydney.
Mia has a keen interest in musculoskeletal injuries across all populations, with a special focus on dancers and athletes. Her approach is holistic, combining evidence-based manual therapy, functional movement strategies, and education to empower her patients in their rehabilitation and performance goals. She strives to not only address injuries but also to optimise movement patterns and prevent future setbacks.
Outside of work, Mia enjoys staying active, exploring the outdoors, and spending time with family and friends.
